SOUND BBQ is owned and operated by me, Chef Joel McEwen. I have worked in the ‘industry’ for over 30 years in most food service operations you could imagine and a few you couldn’t! As a chef my journey is about learning and evolving and having a passion for food and feeding people.

If I’ve learned one thing it’s this, proper technique and quality ingredients mixed with pride and passion is what makes really good food.

SOUND BBQ thus refers to my dedicated use of steadfast techniques and quality ingredients to produce my best every cook. There is nothing simple about great BBQ! I bring all my experience, passion and knowledge to the table every time!
